Clearcreek Youth Soccer Association

The purpose of the Clearcreek Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) is to provide an opportunity for children to experience the game of soccer in fun safe environment.   CYSA is a district SAY - the Soccer Association for Youth, USA (www.saysoccer.org) and is part of the Miami Valley South SAY area (MVS) (http://www.mvssoccer.com)  SAY soccer offers both a recreational league and a premier league. The premier league is operated similar to a select soccer league.

CYSA runs a fall recreational session that provides for players age 3 through high school seniors.   The players are divided into the following divisions;

Candy 3 - Co-ed 3 years old (must be 3 years old as of July 31)
Candy 4 - Co-ed 4 years old
Dribbers - Boys 5-6 years old
                 Girls 5-6 years old
Passer  -  Boys 7-8 years old  
               Girls 7-8 years old
Wings -    Boys 9-10 years old
                 Girls 9-10 years old
Strikers - Boys 11-12 years old
                 Girls 11-12 years old
Kickers - Boys 13-14 years old** 
               Girls 13-14 years old*
Minors/Seniors - Co-ed 15-18 years old

Practices begin the first week in August and games begin the weekend before Labor Day.  Regular games typically run through the 3rd weekend in October with tournaments (in-house/MVS) the last weekend in October.  The number of teams sent to the MVS tournament may vary from year to year, and is decided later in the season by MVS. Candy and Dribbler teams do not participate in any tournaments.  CYSA will do its best to provide each team with a minimum of 8 games.
